Here is the schedule that the BLM is anticipating for the 30,000 oil and gas lease proposal & sale:

2-9-2012:
Initial public comment period ends

3-1-2012:
Environmental Assessment (EA) posted by BLM
30-day public comment period on the EA begins

3-31-2012:
Public comment period ends
Montrose field office will prepare EA and incorporate applicable public comments received on the EA

5-11-2012:
August sale notice posted (90 days before sale date)
30-day protest period opens

6-11-2012:
Deadline to file protests

8-9-2012:
August Oil and Gas Lease Sale – Denver
