++ Filed lease protest on a 700+ acre parcel in the Surface Creek area near Cedaredge. The BLM sold the lease for a paltry $2.00 an acre, but as a result of the protest, the agency will conduct an Environmental Assessment allowing for additional public input.

++ Currently in the process of filing protest on two parcels totaling nearly 900 acres west of Paonia Reservoir slated for the August BLM lease sale.

++ Submitted comprehensive comments to the BLM on the Uncompahgre Resource Management Plan update and asked the BLM to place a moratorium on any new leasing until the revised management plan is implemented.
