12 Aug RMP Alert! BLM Agrees To Moratorium on Oil and Gas Leasing and Amend RMP

In a triumph for the North Fork Valley, CHC and partners finalized a legal agreement with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management that will prevent new oil and gas leasing across 2.2 million acres of the entire federal mineral estate in the Uncompahgre Planning Area until the agency revises its environmental analysis and releases an amended plan for lands in the area.
