Move Like Water: Pathways Toward Change
A WORKSHOP WITH RIVERA SUN
When the going gets tough … we get creative. When we’re working for change, sometimes a route gets blocked. A politician says no. A bill gets dropped. An initiative comes to a standstill. In this workshop, we’ll look at how to pivot to find ways to advance toward your goals of social change. We’ll look at unexpected pressure points, creative approaches, and keep moving forward like water seeking a way through solid stone.
What We Will Look At:
· Pivot & Shift: how to move social groups, families, key influencers, faith leaders, and more.
· Flocks & Swarms: how to use dozens of small actions to create a ‘surround-sound’ effect that helps change happen
· Expect the Unexpected: how to keep your issue on the front burner with surprise actions and creativity.
