Here’s an idea of the boundary for parcel 6197 that is being considered for oil and gas leasing.  The land includes the base of Mount Lamborn.  Imagine drilling for oil and gas at the base of an avalanche and debris path.  Imagine the base of the North Fork Valley’s most iconic landmark covered by a network of oil or gas wells and pads, roads and pipelines, waste water pits, heavy truck traffic and the bright lights and noise from drill rigs running 24/7.
