Please join us on Thursday, May 11^th  for a community meeting in preparation for Delta County Master Planning Vision Workshops.

Delta County is revising its existing Master Plan, which was developed in 1997. The Master Plan will outline the County’s vision for economic development and land use planning.

The Vision Workshops by RPI Consulting and the County, being held in Paonia, Crawford, Hotchkiss, Cedaredge, and Delta the weeks of May 15^th and May 22nd are critical the public input part of the process.

These Vision Workshops are the community’s opportunity to let the County know our view of the future of North Fork Valley and Delta County, raise concerns and issues with the County’s current approach to oil and gas development, and how oil and gas development is incompatible with economic development efforts focused on sustainable agriculture, recreation, renewables, arts, music and culture, and tourism.

We will provide information on the master planning process, and issues related to oil and gas to prepare for these public input meetings. More importantly this will be an opportunity to discuss concerns with fellow neighbors and fine tune your comments.
