Please join us on Tuesday, April 3^rd  for a community meeting on Delta County’s Draft Master Plan.

The Master Plan Revision process is coming to an end. The Planning Commission has published a final draft of the Master Plan for public input.

Elyse Casselberry, Community and Economic Development Director for Delta County, who has been managing the Master Plan revision process for the County will attend our Community Meeting on April 3rd to explain the draft, the process, what this means for the community and future land use planning, and to answer questions.

This meeting is an opportunity to better understand the purpose of the Master Plan, the intent behind some of the provisions, and to question how the draft as proposed will play out over time through land use planning regulations and specific development applications.

Please attend this important meeting. The Master Plan is the closest document Delta County has to a strategic plan that will guide the future of agricultural, residential, commercial and industrial development in the County. From an oil and gas perspective, the vision, goals, and land use designations will influence the County’s position on whether to support or oppose oil and gas development proposals and its review of the Specific Development Regulations as it relates to oil and gas development.
