The long awaited Draft BLM Uncompahgre Resource Management Plan (RMP) for over 675,000 surface acres within the Uncompahgre Planning Area was officially published on June 3, 2016.

The 90-day public comment period officially starts on June 3 and will end on September 1, 2016.

The draft is over 2000 pages. We will review it as quickly as we can and provide you with more information.

During the 90-day public comment period on this Draft RMP, the Uncompahgre Field Office is hosting six public open houses, 2 of which are in Hotchkiss and Delta to provide information and an opportunity to comment on the draft plan.  Members of the public can stop by anytime between 6-8 p.m. at the following locations:
