A Monolithic Folly: Fracking Colorado’s North Fork Valley is the story of how one former coal community in Western Colorado has been working to transition away from fossil fuels for over a decade. But now fracking for natural gas is knocking at the door. Learn about how a community built a new economy and what may be at risk in this film.

Fracking the System: Colorado’s Oil and Gas Wars is about the 10-year struggle of Coloradans to keep fracking away from their homes and schools. The wars climaxed in 2018 with Proposition 112, to which the oil and gas industry responded with harassment, lawsuits, sabotage and $50 million.

Panel discussion follows the film with film producers Chad Reich and Brian Hedden and novelist and activist Rivera Sun.
