12 Sep 2nd Annual Kids’ Pasta Project Dinner on Sept. 28

Enjoy a dinner out while supporting the health of the Delta County region! The Kids Pasta Project and Citizens for a Healthy Community are joining forces at Delicious Orchards on Monday, September 28 for our second annual dinner and silent auction. Join us for a homegrown meal, a silent auction, the companionship of like minded friends and the fun of having kids prepare and serve your food.

Seating is limited, so reserve your seat or table now. Email kppreservations@gmail.com to make reservations or call Lenore at 970-985-9220. Dinner includes salad, bread, pasta and desert. The cost is $14 for adults and $8 for kids. You can also help us spread the word about this event by inviting others on our Facebook event page.

We are looking to you, whether you can attend or not, to donate some items for a silent auction. If you have preserves, honey, wine, fruit desserts, cheese, please contribute a sampling of your bounty. Handcrafted items are also examples of what the valley has in abundance. Bring ’em on! That is not to say that other items are not welcome. So, please check around the house and see if there is something of value that you no longer are putting to use that you are willing to donate.

If you would like to donate to the silent auction, call CHC volunteer Mary Smith at 970-589-2713 regarding delivery of your items. Proceeds from the dinner are split between KPP and CHC, and proceeds from the silent auction benefit CHC’s efforts to protect our region from irresponsible drilling and fracking.
